Where is the Cross Point East?
This mystery has annoyed me a lot and I
have often got lost on the way.
It is quite easy on the contrary to find
out the Cross Point West, since the Line starts from Easter Island.
But as to the Cross Point East, there is
not such a landmark which indicates the starting point or the ending point.
This video is about the mystery and I have tried to find out the most reliable
Cross Point East.
The main reason why there are small errors
often and at each point is that this earth is oval-shaped.
地球には２つの重要なクロスポイントがあります。
クロスポイント西と、クロスポイント東です。
クロスポイント西は、イースター島という、明確な基点がありますから、楽に求めることができます。
一方、クロスポイント東には、それがありません。
そのため、私はしばしば、どこをクロスポイント東にするかで悩んできました。
で、今日は、その謎に決着をつけるべき、謎解きに挑戦してみます。
謎を解く手がかりは、仁徳陵にあります。
その仁徳陵から、今回は、逆に、クロスポイント中国、クロスポイント日本を求め、それを手がかりに、さらにクロスポイント東を求めるという手法を採ってみました。
で、結果として、今のところ、いちばん正しいのではないかと思われる、経度、緯度を求めることができました。
たいへん技術的な話（＝おもしろくない話）なので、恐縮しますが、これも謎解きのひとつと考え、ビデオを見てくだされば、うれしく思います。

なおこうしたエラーが起きる理由のひとつとして、地球が楕円球体であることが考えられます。
